What do you enjoy most about MCC?

The great community spirit and the variety of programs for all age groups. I also appreciate the various interfaith activities led by MCC, which have made MCC the pre-eminent Islamic Community Center in the East Bay.

What do you think can be improved about MCC?

Building facilities, including both interior and exterior.

What kind of positive impact will you bring to MCC?

As Treasurer, I will continue to work with the Finance Committee members to maintain a robust Financial Position for MCC. This includes Operations, Zakat, and Building Expansion Funds. I will also work to implement a strong budgeting and Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) process to help set the direction for future MCC programs and activities. Additionally, I will work with our partner Financial Institutions to facilitate newer donation methods.
