• RE: RESOLUTION REQUESTING ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTALLATIONS TO PREVENT VEHICLES FROM DRIVING ONTO METROPOLITAN BUS TRAILS [link]

• Validate protection exists where they’ve said it does, and that it is sufficient

• e.g., if planters, ensure they’re positioned appropriately

• Document intrusion at unprotected intersections

• Do we claim that any new documented cases of vehicles on the MBT are attributable to the next-closest unprotected intersection?

• Follow-up: what constitutes sufficient documentation of intrusion?

7. 4th St NE Bike Lane Improvements

1. Priorities?

1. Short/near term priorities for resolution drafting:

1. Striping + Marking improvements.

1. Bring markings for bike facilities up to current best-practices (most notably at RIA intersection where NEBT construction completed)
2. 4th + Todd improvements

1. Half-painted crosswalk
2. Parked cars block the crosswalks and is dangerous because pedestrians can’t see or be seen

1. Opportunity for daylighting
2. Important given heavy Ft Meyer truck traffic

3. To discuss: maybe additional intersections for daylighting/narrowing

2. Improved wayfinding signage

1. Edgewood Rec Center

3. Q+R street
