Title I Student/School/Parent Compact

2024-2025

Thomasville Middle School and the parents of the students participating in activities, services, and programs funded by Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Educations Act (ESEA) (participating children), agree that this compact outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the State’s high standards.

___Monitor my academics, attendance and discipline;

___Ensure that all school work is completed (including reading nightly for 30 min.) and submitted on time; ___Monitor the amount of television I watch and sometimes discuss the content of the programs with a parent/guardian/interested adult;

___Give my parent(s)/guardian(s) all notices and information received by me from school and discuss my day; ___Follow all school rules and the student code of conduct;

___Complete all assigned work and appropriately use the Chromebook I will be assigned; ___Actively participate in my own learning by setting & achieving personal goals while being open to being challenged.

___Seek ways to be engaged in my learning regardless of the educational setting (remote, alternative placement, etc).

Thomasville Middle School y los padres de los estudiantes que participan en actividades, servicios y programas financiados por el Título I, Parte A de la Ley de Educación Primaria y Secundaria (ESEA) (niños participantes), acuerdan que este pacto describe cómo los padres, la totalidad el personal escolar y los estudiantes compartirán la responsabilidad de mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes y los medios por los cuales la escuela y los padres construirán y desarrollarán una asociación que ayudará a los niños a alcanzar los altos estándares del Estado.
