Company News - 2025 Q1

Note from the CEO

<venting> Honestly, I’m a bit tired of having to start these notes with something financial. We’re a tech company, not a fintech. But since we provide solutions to startups, I’ve got no choice.</venting>

At the end of 2024, the Fed started lowering interest rates. Even though they’re still high, we’ve begun to see some signs of market reactivation.

And then… tariffs.

Investors, and really, nobody, can quite figure out what Trump is doing, so everyone’s holding back until things clear up.

While we wait, we keep researching, innovating, and getting ready for the rebound.

Last year, we went deep into AI research; this year, we’re adopting it in a super aggressive way. We don’t know exactly how AI will change how we, as developers, work, or what our roles will look like a few years from now. But what we do know is that we’ll be ready. We’re diving deep into AI: researching, experimenting, investing, and adopting it across the board. So whatever shape the future takes, we’ll adapt, and we’ll stay ahead of the curve.

Nacho.

New Roles and Leadership

We’re thrilled to announce two big promotions within the team!

🎉 Mariano Selvaggi has stepped into the role of Development Manager. Mariano has been a key part of the team for a long time, and this new role is a natural next step in his journey with us. He’ll be focusing on leading and supporting our dev team, making sure we continue to grow both technically and as a team.

🚀 Jeremias Gibilbank has taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Jeremias brings a strong vision for where our tech can go, and his leadership will be crucial as we continue to scale and tackle bigger challenges. He’ll be steering the ship on all things tech—from strategy to execution.

We’re super excited about what’s ahead with this leadership team in place. Big congrats to both!

News from the Architecture Department

In Q1 2025, the Architecture team focused on two strategic priorities: strengthening research and knowledge sharing and professionalizing AI usage across the organization.

Key initiatives included launching research processes, promoting Tech Champions, organizing study groups and internal talks, and publishing technical content. On the AI front, the team documented workflows in N8N, fostered AI knowledge sharing in Slack, and trained team members in tools like Cursor.

AI Coding

AI coding tools like Cursor are transforming how we develop software and are becoming essential in modern development workflows. With features like Agent mode and support for advanced models like Claude 3.7 Thinking, Cursor goes beyond autocomplete—helping with debugging, refactoring, and understanding code. If you haven’t explored it yet, check out our tutorial series on YouTube to see how you can get the most out of it. It’s a powerful ally for writing better code faster.

If you want to get your Cursor license, please complete this form, and we will get back to you shortly.
Also, join our

Research & Tech Radar

During Q1, we formalized and activated the Research & Tech Radar process to strengthen our approach to emerging technologies and drive informed adoption. It flows from tech radar review to hands-on execution and reporting. Key outcomes feed our internal knowledge base and tech strategy, with select research turned into marketing content.
We also kicked off the production of
Marketing Materials from selected research outcomes to amplify our technical voice externally.1

N8N & Automation

This quarter, we began adopting N8N to streamline and automate complex internal workflows. The platform helps us build powerful, low-code automation that combines AI agents, APIs, and logic branches to generate, grade, and refine content dynamically. This marks the start of a broader effort to integrate automation into our daily processes, boosting efficiency and enabling scalable innovation.

Tech Champions - Q2

While we weren’t able to launch it in Q1, the Tech Champions initiative is in motion and coming soon. This program is designed to recognize and empower team members who are passionate about specific technologies or domains. Champions will play a key role in spreading knowledge, mentoring peers, leading discussions, and staying ahead of trends, becoming go-to references in their focus areas.

Stay tuned to #engineering for more as we get closer to launching!

AWS Study Groups - Q2

The AWS Study Groups will be relaunched in Q2. These groups aim to foster collaborative learning, aid in AWS certification preparation, and bolster our technical skills, ultimately strengthening our AWS partnership.

Whether you’re just getting started or aiming for an advanced cert, everyone’s welcome. Join the conversation and stay updated in our Slack channel: #aws-study-group. Let’s level up together! 🚀

Introducing MS2: A New Chapter in Engineering Collaboration

This quarter marks the official launch of the MS2 team—an initiative that has evolved into a focused and promising group. With Franco Rodriguez Roura joining at the end of February, the team now includes Franco, Jonathan Andino, and Jan Guzman.

Since its formation, MS2 has made consistent progress across development and infrastructure efforts. The team has worked on improving environments, enhancing visibility, and building out core components, all while fostering strong lines of communication with the client. Collaboration has been fluid and productive, and the team's contributions are already having a positive impact.

With a compact structure and agile mindset, MS2 is quickly becoming a great example of effective teamwork. The connection with the client is strong, and the team is aligned and energized for what’s next.

Starting our second Mobile APP Journey with Axsome

Axsome has decided to develop its second mobile app with us, code-named Trellis. This app will serve as a companion for caregivers of individuals living with Alzheimer’s. It will provide tools and resources to support caregivers' mental well-being and enable better clinical decision-making with healthcare providers.

We’ve made excellent progress so far. One of the main challenges was building a shared component system for both applications. We began transforming the backend into a monorepo some time ago, and the backend team has successfully evolved it to allow sharing components and services across both applications. By reusing GitHub Actions and AWS resources, we’ve been able to speed up development, reduce costs, and maximize code reuse. The mobile team also embarked on this journey by implementing a monorepo and sharing visual components a few weeks ago, and they are making great progress.

We are excited to continue helping Axsome build amazing products. Special thanks to the team, which initially included Martin Bonafede, Roddy Garcia, Bruna Dannenhauer, Alejandro Brizo, Mariana Garcia,  and Diego Gallardo, for their hard work and dedication.

News from the Product Design Department

During Q1, we worked on multiple projects as part of our Design & Discovery process. One of them was Carry Golf, a platform designed to sponsor athletes — in this case, semi-professional golfers — who are seeking financial support to keep competing. The goal was to design an informational landing page about the organization, where we introduced the founders, explained the sponsorship process, and highlighted selected athletes. Carry Golf provides up-to-date information on each athlete’s performance, along with different sponsorship tiers. Roddy Garcia led the design and prototyping in Figma and also handled client meetings to align on expectations and deliver on the project goals.

At the beginning of the year, we also worked on another Design & Discovery for an app called What’s Poppi’N, which helps users discover the vibe of bars through an interactive map. The vibe is built based on posts (photos and videos) from customers who’ve been to the venue and uploaded content to the bar’s profile. The app also includes the bar’s menu, upcoming events, and a feature to message people who’ve checked in at the same place.

During the first few months of the year, Bruna Dannenhauer was on maternity leave. In her absence, Roddy Garcia stepped in on the Axsome project and contributed to creating new flows for an app focused on caregiving for people with Alzheimer’s. Features like onboarding, symptom tracking, and task management were conceptualized, tested, and then handed off to development. Bruna recently returned to the project and is now the loving mom of her daughter, Giovanna ❤️.

Lastly, we made progress on our OKRs for the quarter. Framer — a no-code tool that’s being widely adopted by product designers — was one of our main focuses. It integrates seamlessly with Figma and helps us save hours of design and development time. Our goal is to master the tool and offer it as a new service from our team. We also continued encouraging knowledge transfer by introducing Uxcel, a platform that helps assess designers’ skills and recommends tailored courses to support individual growth areas.

News from the DevOps Department

During Q1, we successfully launched two projects to production: Carry Golf and Starbot. Both benefited from our DevOps CDK Starter Kit, which provides ready-to-use infrastructure modules that we can extend and customize. This allowed us to save time, reduce implementation costs, and follow AWS best practices.

Starbot is a trading platform that simplifies and enhances trading. It supports the trading of Ethereum-based tokens and provides a revenue-sharing model for STAR token holders. AWS Main services used are: ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, SQS, ALB.

Carry Golf is a platform supporting up-and-coming golfers. It's a platform where starter athletes can meet investors so they can then invest in their career. AWS Main services used are: ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, SQS, ALB.

Using our DevOps CDK Starter Kit made it easier to spin up production-grade environments for both projects in a short timeframe while keeping a high standard of quality and security. It also showed the value of the effort we put into developing and refining these modules back in Q4 ’24.

In this Q1 on OKR, we mainly worked on:

Amazon Partner Network Status

We validated our partner with AWS again and uploaded some projects to APN Opportunities, so we continue our partnership path with AWS

Kudos to the team DevOps Tharles Freire, Marcos Romeo, and Diego Gallardo for their hard work!

Marketing and Sales highlights

Better stories, smarter systems, stronger presence.

This quarter, we focused on sharpening how we present ourselves to the outside world. We updated and created key sales and marketing materials—like presentations, decks, and brochures—not only to support our outreach efforts, but to make sure the way we talk about our work truly reflects the quality of what we build together.

We’ve been testing n8n and AI agents to optimize how we manage leads and sales operations. One exciting project is organizing our company’s knowledge into a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system. This means we can now generate super-targeted emails and custom proposals using real data from our own docs, so communications are faster, more consistent, and more aligned with what each client needs. It’s early days, but it’s already making a difference.

Social Highlights

Internal Tools & Operations

Migration to Notion

This quarter, we focused heavily on improving our internal operations by migrating our workflows and documentation to Notion. The goal was centralizing knowledge, enhancing team collaboration, and streamlining day-to-day processes. The transition included considerable planning, content restructuring, and a company-wide adoption effort, resulting in more transparent and accessible operations.

Exploring Workflow Automation with n8n

In parallel, we began investing time into n8n, an automation tool that allows us to build flexible, no-code/low-code workflows. Our team has been researching and testing different automations to connect tools and reduce manual tasks. This is still in the experimentation phase, but it's already showing promise in helping us optimize and scale internal processes.

What’s Next

Looking ahead, we’re planning to explore even more tools and dive into using AI to support our operations. Whether it’s building smarter automations in tools like n8n, experimenting with MCP, or discovering other helpful platforms, we’re excited to see how tech (and a little AI magic) can make our work smoother and more impactful.

💰 Update on Payoneer Fees – Great News!

We’re happy to share some good news regarding Payoneer fees.

As many of you may have seen in your Payoneer accounts, Payoneer announced that starting on
March 16, 2025, the fee for receiving payments would increase to 1% of the received amount.

However, following a conversation between our representatives and the Payoneer team, and thanks to the existing agreement between White Prompt and Payoneer,
this fee change will not apply to us.

This means that the current fee structure
will remain unchanged, representing a continued benefit for all our collaborators who use Payoneer to receive payments.

We’re glad to have achieved this result and will continue working to ensure the best possible conditions for our team.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact us at
payroll@whiteprompt.com.
