Grading:

Standard grades are being issued. Students will receive weekly grades for reading, math, science, socials, and specials classes.

MTSS/SEL Support

Tier I

Weekly school-wide social emotional learning lessons through videos and activities presented by school social worker and classroom teachers focused on issues related to Covid; emotional awareness and management, persistence, separation and loss, and DON STICK Values (aligned with the 5 competencies)

Tier II

Provision of “office hours” and/or scheduled check-ins for students who require strategies for at-home learning, stress management and coping strategies related to absence from school environment.

Tier III

Scheduled regular video conferencing to address ongoing social/emotional or behavioral concerns that impact school-based or remote learning.

9:30 - 10:00 am: Whole group live lesson - all students attend

10:00 - 11:00 am: Small Groups - only scheduled students attend

  • Students will be scheduled for small group instruction with their teacher throughout the week. Small group instruction will last 15-30 minutes depending on the grade level.
  • Students who are not attending a Small Group for the day will complete independent assignments as assigned by the teacher until lunch time. During this time, students can take short breaks and have a snack. Students do not stay logged into Zoom unless otherwise directed by their teacher.

Independent Work Time and Specials Classes

Students should:

  • Complete unfinished assignments in Seesaw and/or self-paced work in digital curriculum programs:
  • ELA
  • PreK - Pocket Phonics Stories, Reading Eggs
  • K-2 - iRead
  • 2-5 - Achieve 300 KidBiz & Flocabulary
  • Math
  • PreK - Tiggly Math
  • K-5 - DreamBox and Zearn
  • K-5 - Teachley (K-2: Addimals and Subtractimals, 2-3: Market Bay, 3-5: Fractions Boost 1 and 2, 4-5: Fractionators)
  •  Attend Specials
  • Please refer to your student’s schedule in Seesaw to determine when he/she attends a Specials class each week. Specials classes are 30 minutes long.

2:00 - 4:00 pm

Live Support:  If you need to speak with your child’s teacher, please schedule it during this time and teachers will schedule time with you as their afternoon schedule permits.
