4th Grade UIL Practice Letter

Dear Parents,

Congratulations!! Your child has made the 4th grade UIL Spelling team. Team practices will be held every Tuesday morning before school beginning October 26th, from 7:15-7:45 in Room 25. Our last practice will be Tuesday, January 25th. We have a total of five students in our team. Two students will be alternates and will compete at Libby Elementary only if a team member cannot attend the competition. However, all team members are expected to attend practices and will have the opportunity to attend the UIL field trip. We will have a final spelling test before the actual UIL competition to determine who our alternate members will be.

Please encourage your child to go over the list of words assigned each week. I will choose 60 words from the list each week and 5 additional tie-breaker words.
