Text Highlighted In Green has been added to Beta Updates of DriveSpider
Once a user has been accepted, it takes them to a page where they book a test. Before they take the tests, at any point between they take a “Theory” test in which it grants them an amount of questions set by the VTC. The amount, type and difficulty of the questions are set by the VTC.
Once the test has been submitted, Staff get a rundown of the time taken, answers to the questions and the score they have achieved from each question. The theory test will make up to half of the overall score.
There will be X amount of standard questions, and there will be a way to modify, remove or add questions based on the VTC’s needs.
In DriveSpider 3.0.0, there will be 3 Question types:
- Text based questions and answers
In future updates, more question types will become available to VTC’s.
For the practical test, examiners will record the test, and upload it to the webspace (or a media sharing service) and then into the learners or trainee drivers examination case/log. This is so the Dept managers can see the log of the driver being tested, and/or override the automatic scoring system/scoring by the examiner. The VTC will be able to decide if they want the scoring to be done during the test on a mobile device, or recorded and scored after. The system will automatically sum the results entered by the examiner and produce the test result. The threshold the learner has to achieve can be set by the VTC and can be overridden by the examiner at their own discretion before being sent to the trainee
Potential Exam Features
Examiners will have the option to timestamp the recorded video by a button click event and comment on the timestamp.
Trainees can see the live status of their test data/lesson
Trainees have a Discord Channel created by the DriveSpider/TrucksWeb bot in which they can see the status of their lesson/test.
Examiners Backend
Examiners will get their own Sidebar tab in which they can Create a new test, Manage existing tests, Manage the Trainee group.
Examiners Dept Manager will be able to change webhook integrations and links from the examiners backend.

Examiners have a new area named “Exams Centre” in which they have a separate area from their main hub.
In addition to the examiners system, Once users have passed their test, a unique ID will be attached to their profile for their “Driving License” In future updates and systems, VTC’s will be able to configure different licenses for different Job/Trailer types if desired. This is preparation for future features. There is no frontend work in this feature, only preparation for this feature in future updates.

Comments / Notes feature for Application Managers.
The New LOA Request system will feature new options, improved backend scripting, UI refresh, Timeout from hub features whilst the user is LOA, topbar to feature alert stating the user is LOA, jobs to come through in the LOA period marked as “Submitted during LOA”
