Northmont YouthNews for January 12, 2021

In This Week’s YouthNews:

COVID-19 Updates on Worship…

We have officially moved indoors for worship. However, due to an increase in COVID cases we will be online only, at least through the remainder of January 2021. Please join us on Youtube Live at 11am on Sundays, or find our videos on our Youtube page on Sunday afternoons.

Plan for January Youth Ministry

We are looking forward to...

Wednesday January 20:  Youth Group at Northmont, 6-8pm; please wear a mask and bring a drink. We will have dinner, stay tuned for an order email.

Saturday January 30: A day at the slopes; skiing at Seven Springs (email Steph for details or read below)

Come Ski with us!

Looking for a COVID-safe activity to do outdoors with other church members?

Join us at Seven Springs on Saturday January 30th for a half-day on the slopes. All COVID regulations are strictly followed and enforced by the ski resort, including wearing masks, socially distancing from those outside your pod, no indoor seating or dining, etc. The resorts are limiting ticket sales and you must buy them in advance.

We would love to be able to do a group rate, which means we need 20 people to agree to go skiing. We are partnering with our friends at Westminster Presbyterian Church to try to reach 20 people. If you are interested in joining us, please email Steph this week. We must make a decision on the group rate by Friday.

If we get 20 people, Steph will be in touch about group sign-ups. If we don't get 20 people by this Friday then we will still go skiing, but everyone will be responsible for buying their own ticket. Tickets are on sale through Seven Springs at the link found here and go on sale on Saturday January 16. If you need to rent equipment, we recommend you do contactless rental through Jump'n Jakes, at the link found here.

Please let Steph know if you and/or your family are interested in meeting up with us on the slopes on Saturday January 30th. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Steph at

A Space to be Heard

Hey youth and parents, is this time confusing for you? Are you looking for a place to ask hard questions or just vent frustration? We have a place for you!

Go to the link here and let us know what is on your mind. Steph will read them, pray over them, respond to them, or whatever is necessary. This is confusing and hard for all of us and we want you to feel like you have a place to voice that.
