Welcome to Move. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can access, manage, and delete your information. This includes calling out any sensitive user data that we access.
Track health related movement: We read step count data from your phone to help you track progress towards your step goals. Optionally, if you connect Move with other friends, we will use your step count data to determine how much progress you have made toward any relevant step goals you have configured in the app.
NOTE: Step count data does not include location information.
NOTE: We never share your step count with friends that you have connected with in the app. Friends will only see how much progress you have made towards your goals and whether you have completed your goals for the day.
To Improve Our Service: We analyze usage data to optimize user experience.
Communication: We use your contact information to respond to customer support inquiries. NOTE: We do not share or sell your contact information.
NOTE: We never share or sell any data to third-parties. Data is not used for any purpose other than providing or improving Move’s functionality or features.
Data can only be accessed after obtaining the user's consent through explicit opt-in mechanisms within the app.
NOTE: Consent can be retracted at any time from built-in mechanisms on the phone operating system.
We may use third-party services such as Mixpanel, Firebase, Sentry, etc., to collect and analyze anonymized usage data. With each third-party service, we have policies in place to ensure your data is not shared beyond the direct relationship we have with each third-party service.
We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data against unauthorized or unlawful access, destruction, loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information at any time. Inside the app, under Account Management, you can erase your account. All personal data that we collect is purged from our systems.
Our Play Store data safety labels are consistent with the disclosures in this Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last Updated” date.
