Description of your education approach 

We are using a child-centred eclectic approach with a strong emphasis on project and play-based learning, according to my son’s interests. We will also supplement with workbooks for essential knowledge for Math and Social Science.

In our household, learning happens all the time. We will schedule two blocks of 20-30 minutes each day for direct instruction and alternate between the main subjects of Math & Science, English Language Arts, français, and Social Sciences. Physical education and health will occur daily. Extension activities will happen throughout the week for these subjects and others.
