CAST TEST VOTE

This document discusses the (a) key steps and (b) detailed steps in casting an online test vote.

1.1 Access the login in the PICPA OVS portal using this link: https://www.picpaelection.com/member-registration/log-in 

1.2 Encode your registered email and password in the login portal and press the green  “LOGIN” button

1.3 If you do not remember your password, click the “FORGOT PASSWORD?” to reset your password. You need your registered email and CPA # to complete the password reset and account recovery. Thereafter, login to your account as described in step 1.1.

2.1 In the Membership Registration dashboard, click on the blue “TEST VOTE” button to cast your test vote.

N.B You need to immediately verify your (a) chapter, (b) sector, and (c) status.

CHAPTER - You will not be allowed to change your chapter under the existing guidelines, except for those with no indicated chapter in the OVS. If your account has no chapter, you will not be allowed to vote.

SECTOR - You need to select a valid sector for you to enjoy the convenience of online voting.If your account has no sector and you prefer to cast your vote online, you will only be allowed to vote for the Regional Director and Chapter Board.

MEMBERSHIP STATUS - You can request for update of membership status if you have settled your membership dues in full on or before March 15, 2023

2.2 Cast your vote by selecting your candidates. Pay attention to the maximum number of votes per position.

2.3 Click on the blue “VOTE” button once you have completed your vote.

2.4 Confirm your vote as highlighted in green on the ballot.

2.5 Click on the blue “FINALIZE VOTE” button once you have finalized your vote.

2.6 Confirm successful casting of the test vote with the “THANK YOU” message displayed on your screen..

3.1 Check the INBOX (Primary tab) of your registered email account. Look for the email from PICPA COMELEC (info@picpaelection.com) with the subject “PICPA OVS: Thank you for casting your vote!”.

3.2 If you can not find the aforementioned email notifications in your INBOX, please check your SPAM, SOCIAL and PROMOTIONS tabs of your registered email account.

3.3 If you can not locate the email, ask support from your IT team to allow PICPA OVS resources (ie domain, subdomain, IP address, emails, and URLs)  to be whitelisted or allowed access to your network.

3.4 If the problem of not receiving email from PICPA OVS persists, send a request for “RESET ACCOUNT” in the PICPA OVS hotline portal https://www.picpaelection.com/site-landing/tech-support/hotline.

N.B. Regularly check your email for the resolution of your hotline request. Once your account reset is approved, the account status that will be displayed in the Membership Inquiry (https://www.picpaelection.com/site-landing/account-inquiry) will revert back to “UNREGISTERED ACCOUNT. You can then register another email address, preferably a personal email add using Google, Hotmail, or Yahoo.
