I had once a wife and a servant and a handsome son. One day i had to go to a distant city. While i was away, my wife turn my son into a calf and my servant into a cow. My wife is a bad woman who had studied witchcraft. When i came back home i asked my wife for my son. She said, “Your Son? I told my servent to bring me a calf and he brought me my son who was a calf now. When the calf saw me, it was very glad. It ran up to me and rubbed its head againts me. I said to the servant, “take this calf away and bring me another”. My wife called to me, “ You must kill this one. This calf is very fat”. But i didn’t listen to her. “Take it away”, i said to my servant The next day, i was sitting in my room when my servant came to me and said, “o, my master, i will you a tale which will make you happy” “i have a daughter who studied magic. Yesterday, when you gave me the calf i went home. I went into the house. When my doughter saw the calf she covered her face. First she cried and then she laughed”. At least she said to me, “O, My father why do you bring a strange man into the house to look at me?” I answered, “i did not see a man” “this calf is your master’s son,” she said.
