CH 2 - 10 : Create Function Profile

We can use this IMG activity to assemble the functions that we want to provide for our function profile. All case types to which we then assign this function profile provide the corresponding functions and display the relevant case components. We can also determine the sequence of the pushbuttons; create separators between them, and group pushbuttons for dropdown menus. If we have not defined and customer-defined functions, we recommend that we use the following function profile:

• FIN_DISPUTE, if we use Accounts Receivable Accounting (FI-AR)
• FICA_FKT, if we use Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)

• We can configure through Implementation Guide Menu // Financial Supply Chain Management // Dispute Management // Dispute Case Processing // Function Profile // Create Function Profile.
• On Change view Function Profile: Details of Selected Set choose FIN_DISP and choose COPY icon.  

• System will come up “Specify object to be copied” window, choose cop all and proceed.

• Change function profile ID and descriptions as indicated as an example.

• Once change function profile and changed description SAVE.
• On “Change View “Allowed functions”: Overview” screen choose allowed function from the dialog structure to see what are allowed functionalities while dispute case processing.

The above screen contains following important fields;

• Function - Identify function or case component in the function profile.
• Sequence of Function Buttons – Order in which the functions are displayed in the dispute case
• Separator After Pushbutton – Select this indicator if a separating line should be placed after the button.
• Assigned Menu – Contains dropdown menu to which the function is assigned
• Icon Name – Name of the icon associated to the function
• No Create – Select this indicator if the button is disabled upon creation of the dispute case
• Not for Modify – Select this indicator if the function is not available for modification
• No Display – Select this indicator if the function is not available for display
• Button with Menu – Select this indicator if the function has a push button with a menu

• On “Change View “Allowed Case Components” Overview screen, choose allowed case components from dialog structure to see what are allowed components.

In this configuration step, we have created a custom function profile “ZCUST_DM”. Later we will assign this function profile, so that we can see allowed functionalities in dispute cases.
