Gym II

Northside boys' tennis team improved it's season record to 8-0 with a victory vs. Indian Creek Tuesday evening Sept. 18.

Varsity won 5-0 with game score of 40-4. Winners included singles players Amrit Kar, Param Patel, and Darren Li, and doubles players Anvay Atram, Leo Guo, Ronit Jha, and Jaeheon Shim.

JV won 3-0 with winners including doubles players Matthew Degner, Ben Genter, Sid Jain, Ajay Singireddy, and Zach Kiser.

On a night where the offense struggled to find a rhythm, Ethan Duncan refused to lose by scrambling and rushing for over 150 yards scoring all 3 touchdowns for a 21-12 win for the 8th graders over Seymour. Trent Liggett an extra point and threw for a 2 point conversion to Ty Boone after keeping his cool after a missed snap. The defense was stout with 4 sacks and allowed zero passes completed and 2 Fumble recoveries. Kaden Sapp was a force on the D-line causing major disruption and leading to sacks and run losses in the backfield. Great win!
