2. | President’s Update - Letter sent to City concerning proposed bylaw changes
- Source of funds required for new Woodroffe Park field house
- Invitation to Bay Ward Volunteer Appreciation Night
- September 28 Community Meeting on LRT Construction
- Concern about traffic being diverted off Richmond Road

3 | Strategic Plan Discussion - Strategic plan was approved

4. | Orientation to Google Tools - David advised on use of Google Tools to maintain WCA records.

5. | Community Survey - What Woodpark Wants - David briefed the Board on responses to community survey of wish lists and will be preparing feedback to the community.

5. | Youth Representation - Jennifer suggested that the Board seek a Youth Representative. She will be pursuing this possibility with local schools.

6. | Committee Reports: Events: - Committee name to be shortened from Outreach and Events.
- Supported Music on the Porch Event with signboards.
- Approximately 120 attended Movie Night. Financial report to follow.
- No Lantern Walk or Pumpkin Event scheduled this year.
- Sue will organize the Holiday Giving Tree project.
- Spring Festival planned.
- Ottawa Hydro has donated First Aid kits to distribute.
- Street mural repainting is dependent on repaving.
Infrastructure and Development: - Don to follow-up on community engagement.
. Internal Services: - David attended a CREA session on not-for-profit bylaws. He is preparing a draft of bylaws for Board comment which he will then forward to volunteer lawyer for review. Board will need to prepare a membership list by October 2024.
- David is preparing a list of local businesses for Board Members to solicit for financial support. Campaign to be discussed at next meeting
Sustainability: - Sue reported on tree campaign.
