Notice of Termination of Minimi

  1. Termination Schedule

We regret to inform you that Minimi will be retired effective on January 8, 2024 (“Termination Date”). You will still be able to enjoy Minimi until the Termination Date.

  1. Refunds

If you have purchased a subscription to Minimi for a period that runs beyond the Termination Date, you may be eligible for a pro rata refund. Please follow the instructions below to claim a refund.

Website purchase

If you purchased a subscription on our website https://minimi.app, please contact us at hi@minimi.app  if you need to receive a refund.

In-app purchase

For the subscriptions purchased in-app, please follow the instructions below.

Android

  1. Go to play.google.com.
  2. At the top right, click your Profile picture.
  3. Click Payments & Subscriptions > Budget & order history.
  4. For the order you want to return, click Report a problem.
  5. Select the “Purchase is defective or doesn’t work as advertised” option .
  6. Complete the form and note that you’d like to get a refund.
  7. Click Submit.

While most refund decision emails are received within 15 minutes as of they were submitted, in some cases, they could take as long as 5 business days to arrive.

If Google refuses to make a refund within 48 hours, please contact us via email hi@minimi.app and send us your Order number.

iOS

  1. Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Tap or click “I’d like to”, then choose “Request a refund.”
  3. Choose the “My purchase doesn’t work as expected” option, then choose Next.
  4. Tap the Minimi app, subscription, then choose Submit. If you were charged for a subscription that you no longer want, you can also cancel the subscription.

You can also do it the alternative way:

  1. Launch the Mail app from your Home screen or any other email app you may use.
  2. Search for an email with the subject “Your receipt from Apple”.
  3. Tap on the receipt for the purchase you want to be refunded.
  4. Tap “Report a Problem” next to the purchase you want to report. You will be redirected to Apple’s problem reports page.
  5. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted.
  6. Tap “Choose Problem” and select “My purchase doesn’t work as expected” option.
  7. Follow the prompt to submit the problem.

You should hear back from Apple within a few days to a week with whether your request for the refund is approved.

  1. Data Retention

For the avoidance of doubt, all of your personal information will be deleted as of the Termination Date, except where required to be stored under applicable law.

We may store your information for this period so that, for example, if you choose to exercise your data subject rights (if applicable), such as the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, we are able to respond to your request.

  1. Your Rights

You have certain rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you, depending on where you are located. For example, you may have the right to access personal information we hold about you, and to be notified regarding how we use it and who we share it with. You may have a right to receive a copy of certain personal information we process about you. You may also have a right to delete your account or remove certain personal information we hold about you.

To exercise any of your data subject rights, please contact us at hi@minimi.app.

Please note that we will be unable to respond to your data subject requests regarding Minimi after the Termination Date.
