Advice at Home project

Clients we can help:

1.        Those who would benefit from our services but would struggle to access them for any of the following reasons:

 

  1. They do not have internet access or digital skills
  2. They have physical, learning disability or mental health barriers whether permanent or temporary
  3. They are socially or geographically isolated within Wokingham Borough
  4. They have limited mobility due to age, health needs, family circumstances or economic pressures
  5. They are shielded individuals or are vulnerable due to a health condition, to Covid-19
  6. They have a complex case with multiple issues.

2.        If you think your client would benefit from this service, please discuss with them and complete the referral form here: Referral form

3.         Once we receive the referral from you, we will if necessary, make contact with you to discuss.  We will also contact the client to undertake an initial assessment with them to see how we can help them.

4.        If they fall within the project criteria, they will be allocated a caseworker who will be there to support and help them with their issues.  

If the project is not appropriate for their needs we will offer them support through our general service in Citizens Advice Wokingham.
