Send Condolence

I couldn’t help but remember when Mikey joined our family so many years ago. When I would stay with grandma and grandpa Dahn we’d drive into town from the farm and visit aunt Opal and play with Mikey. When he joined the service I followed his career and when you guys got married I remember how marvelous it was. Then the children and grandchildren. And your grounds with the beautiful trees and pond. Many good years! He’s another cousin that I will miss in my heart. My condolences to all of you. He should have had a lot more years.

It was an honor to work for Captain Mecila. He was a true leader and was appreciated by many. He was very fair and always had a smile on his face and had a kind word. He will be truly missed. Prayers to the family.

Only knowing Mike through my friendship online with Diana I have realized what a wonderful man he was. Any man that has such a loving family surrounding him is rich indeed. I would have loved to have met this man. I have so enjoyed reading about him, his wife, and family, as well as their get-togethers through my online friendship with Diana. But then again I may meet him in Heaven when I get there because he surely is there and has been greeted warmly by Our Savior.
