Course Description:  All races will compete on the cyclo-cross course that is approximately 3km in length.  Surface mix: 80% grass, 10% dirt, 10% paved paths and off camber tree sections. Obstacles include sand pit,  double barriers dismount/bunny hop, ramp and run up/stairs.

About: Costa Mesa Parks

Estancia Park is named for Estancia (Spanish for “cattle ranch”) Adobe, also known today as the Diego Sepulveda Adobe. The original Adobe was built on the site in 1820, and a restoration of this building is currently located in the park.  Dedicated September 23, 1963.

Balearic Park is owned by the Newport Mesa Unified School District. The Balearic Community Center building located on the site was originally Balearic School.  

About The Santa Ana River TRAIL (SART) INFO HERE 

The Santa Ana River Trail and Parkway was developed through the cooperative efforts of park districts, counties, cities, nonprofits and average citizens interested in recreational opportunities for this rapidly growing region. The Trail passes through 14 incorporated cities in three counties. A list of cities and counties involved with the Trail can be found here.

The Santa Ana River trail is a Class 1 Bicycle path that starts in San Bernardino County Mountains that parallels the [Santa Ana River] bed. It will be from the Pacific Crest trail and extends 110 miles to Pacific Ocean [Huntington Beach]. The Santa Ana River Trail is fully paved and as no cars as cross traffic to engage when you are on the completed trail.
