Scholarship Terms and Conditions
By submitting an application for a scholarship from Flatiron School LLC or any of its affiliates (collectively, “Flatiron School”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Applicant Certifications and Acknowledgments
You certify that your answers to all questions in your program application and scholarship application (if applicable) are true and complete to the best of your knowledge.
If your scholarship application leads to being awarded a scholarship, you acknowledge that any false or misleading information provided in your application may result in disqualification and revocation of the scholarship and/or your admission to Flatiron School.
2. Eligibility.
No purchase or payment is necessary to apply or to be selected as a Flatiron School scholarship recipient.

Flatiron School does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, color, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, national origin or any other basis prohibited by federal, state, or local laws and regulations.
3. Scholarship Conditions.
Flatiron School scholarships provide a specified dollar amount toward the price of tuition for the scholarship recipient(s) to attend one Flatiron School program. All scholarships are subject to the availability of funds and based on the satisfaction of scholarship conditions. The amount and number of scholarship awards may vary at our discretion based upon the number of scholarships awarded and the caliber of applications received.
Unless otherwise specifically stated in a particular scholarship’s separate terms and conditions, scholarship funds may only be applied to Flatiron School tuition; any fees, books, software, or other materials needed for the program may not be purchased or covered by scholarship funds. Any amount awarded in excess of a scholarship recipient’s tuition owed will be forfeited. If your total tuition exceeds the value of the scholarship, you shall remain responsible for payment of the balance of your tuition obligations. Students will also be responsible for any additional fees associated with their chosen program.
Scholarships may not be applied retroactively. If a scholarship recipient subsequently transfers to a different Flatiron School program or later start date, their scholarship award amount may be transferred to such other program at Flatiron School’s sole discretion. The scholarship may not be applied in conjunction with any other Flatiron School scholarship or tuition credit. If a student is a chosen recipient for more than one scholarship, the higher scholarship amount will prevail.

Scholarship recipients will also be required to sign an individual scholarship award agreement or grant letter, which may contain additional terms. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these scholarship terms and conditions and the terms found in the individual scholarship award agreement or grant letter, the terms of the award agreement/grant letter shall govern and control.
4. Privacy And Use Of Personal Information.
If you submit an application, we will process your personal data. We need to use your personal data to administer the scholarship program (to assess applicants and to contact you).
