FHS News & UPdates - 01.15.21

—  PrinciPAL’s Note

We are now halfway through our year together. It certainly has been one that has pushed us to new heights and depths in many parts of our lives. I think back to the beginning of our school year and having a hard time fully visualizing what virtual learning might look like for our students, families, and staff. Looking back, I am in awe of the strength and tenacity that our FHS Eagles have demonstrated. Students rose up to the challenge of logistically meeting online each day, organizing materials, planning their days for completing work, and staying connected with one another. Families are supporting our students at home with their learning by creating spaces, providing guidance and coaching, and encouragement to continue achieving. Staff continually try to find ways to connect with students and build meaningful relationships. We have persevered and grown as a learning community through this experience thanks to each of you!

As we embark on semester two, I want to take a moment to remind us of our commitment to one another. Let’s continue to extend kindness and grace as we show up for each moment.

Thank you for your partnership,

Ms. Radhika Issac
