On Monday 9th August 2021 we officially moved ‘Beyond Level 0’. Since then there have been few changes to the advice from Scottish Athletics about how Covid impacts upon our running activities. However, there has been a recent flurry of new guidance documents which take account of the pronouncements from the Scottish Government relating to the Omicron variant. There are very few restrictions upon the training activities which are organised by WERR, other than the obvious ones about hygiene, not participating if you are required to self-isolate, and logging your participation in WERR runs on the Team App. The regulations relating to close contacts of individuals testing positive for Covid are rather complex. There are currently constraints        on spectators and participants for indoor competition and events, but it is anticipated that these constraints will be lifted on 24th January 2022.
