Journalism experience

I have been the Editor in Chief of the youth portal of MSN Latam, editor of special editions for a Metro International supplement, creative editor of Radio UC, a staff journalist of the Chilean edition of Rolling Stone Magazine, scriptwriter of radio Cooperativa, and freelance writer and photographer for several websites, independent projects, and magazines as Domingo of El Mercurio newspaper. I contribute as a columnist, interviewed expert, and analyst of politics and communications in different media. My most recent journalistic experience covered Chileans who voted abroad during Chile’s last presidential election in 2021 for TVN, public television.

2012 ANID-Conicyt Scholarship Beca Chile for Master studies to pursue the Erasmus Mundus Master in Journalism, Media, and Globalization with a specialization in Journalism and Media Across Cultures at Aarhus University, the Danish School of Media and Journalism, and Hamburg University.

2010 Fellow Member of the Foreign Correspondent’s Programme in Finland with 22 journalists from different countries. This included a month of lectures in Helsinki.

2009 Worldnomads Podcast Scholarship to develop a radio documentary and a travel journal in San Andrés de Itzapa, Guatemala.

2008 Fellow of the Salzburg Academy in Media and Global Change after attending the Salzburg Global Seminar. In the seminar, I worked on creating a lecture on media literacy.

2004 La Ruta Quetzal BBVA, an education travel experience for talented youth co-organized by Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I visited México, Spain and Portugal.
