Connections is Osbourn High School’s student-run literary and art magazine. Connections accepts art and literature created by students of all grade levels and skill levels. The 2018-2019 issue will be the magazine’s 31st edition. The submission window is now open. Students may submit art and literature until late February, so make sure to get yours in while there’s still time.

What kinds of submissions does Connections accept?

After submitting your piece, it will be reviewed by Connections editors and may be returned to you with suggestions for edits. After the final submission window closes in February, all pieces go through a final round of evaluation to determine whether or not they will be published. Students whose art and writing do get selected for publication are recognized as formally published, and this can be an important addition to a resumes or college application. The Connections Literary and Art Magazine comes out in late May--just in time for the end of the year. If you’re interested in submitting, there are two ways to do so. Physical copies of both art and literature submission forms can be found outside room 1017. If you prefer submitting online, there will are links for both art and literature submissions below. If you have any further questions, please either speak with Mrs. Sorfi (Room 1017) or email the student staff directly at
