19.4.2025 changed the numbers of the starts
An international orienteering competition (long distance and relay). Including a WRE event for the M/W21 classes, and an INOV-8-league event for the youth elite classes on Saturday. The expected WRE winners’ time is 88 min.
On Sunday the 2nd event of the Finnish National Viestiliiga relay series takes place.

60 participants are selected for the WRE classes M21E and W21E. See Bulletin 1.
Competitors registered in the WRE classes and who do not qualify are put in the parallel WRE classes M21EB and W21EB according to IOF guidelines.
For classes other than WRE, the organizers have the right to divide the participants into parallel classes based on the number of registered competitors.
AVOIN classes are open classes for children and young people, where no license is required. The classes are not tied to age or gender. The color describes the skill level. You can participate in AVOIN classes together with another person. According to the new color standard, the skill levels are: 15-18 AVOIN (red), 14 AVOIN (orange), 12 AVOIN (yellow), TR AVOIN (white), 10 AVOIN (white), RR AVOIN (green).

All relay classes have 3 legs.
In classes H/D120, H/D150, H/D180, H/D210, the total age of the team must be at least 120, 150, 180 or 210 years. The minimum age limits for the age groups are 35 years in H/D120, 40 years in H/D150, 50 years in H/D180 and 60 years in H/D210. There are no gender restrictions in the classes HD14, HD12 and HD10-12TR/RR. In the class HD10-12TR/RR, max. one participant per team may be from age class H/D12.
Running order: The participants and running order of the teams must be submitted through the IRMA service by Saturday 26th April 2025 at 17:00 local time. For changes submitted after this 10 Euros for each team will be charged.
Information about both competitions:
Terrain: The terrain offers a well-maintained commercial forest and detailed rocky areas. The visibility and runnability is mostly good or very good, apart from a few swamps and rocky slopes. The maximum height of the hills are 40 meters. Some roads cross the competition area. Closer to the event center there are several trails.
Maps: On Saturday, the scale is 1:15.000 in all elite classes including H/D21A. In classes H/D14 and younger as well as in H/D45 and older the scale is 1:7.500. In all other classes the scale is 1:10.000.
On Sunday, the scale is 1:10.000 in all classes except HD14 and younger and H/D150 and older, where the scale is 1:7.500.
The contour interval is 5 m. The mapping is done by Markku Virtala 2024-2025 and the maps are printed 04/2025.

When registering for a personal event, the competitors Emit number must be entered. If the Emit number is left blank we reserve a rental Emit, which can be obtained from the info for 5 Euros for each day. Regarding the relay, the number of rental Emits required must be stated by team. We charge 95 Euros for an Emit not returned.
Late registration by midnight on 23rd April 2025 through the IRMA with the regular fee multiplied by 1.5 in the individual race, and by 2 in the relay race.

GPS tracking: The organizer reserves the possibility to use GPS tracking in the main classes of the individual race and in the main classes of the relay.
Location and guidance:
Competition center: Dalsbruk outdoor area, Olavi Hjellmans väg 1, 25900 Dalsbruk (Taalintehdas)
Guidance from the intersection of Finland’s national roads 183 and 1830, from where it’s 6-7 kilometers to the event center and parking. The guidance will be in place from Saturday, 26th April, starting at 7:00 am
The traffic controllers instructions must be followed to ensure safe and smooth traffic.
Parking In the town center of Dalsbruk (Taalintehdas). The distance from the parking to the event center is 0.6-1.4 kilometers. Caravan parking next to the event center - overnight stay possible. The parking fee is 5 € for one day, or 8 € for two days, to be paid at the information desk.
Overnight camping in your own boat in the Taalintehdas harbor is free.
Start:
The first start of Saturday's race is at 11:00. The distance to start 1 is about 2.4 kilometers and to start 2 and 3 about 1 kilometer. There will be a clothes transport from start 1 to event center.
The Sunday relay starts in intervals from 10:00.

Open Courses:
Only on Saturday. Open from 11:00 until 15:00 when the finish closes. Three courses of about 2 km (easy), 4 km and 6 km. Price 12 Euros for adults and 6 Euros for under 16 years. Emit rental 5 Euros.
