ASA Season 1
Here is the link for the Season 1 brochure.
Travel Books in the Library
Planning your next vacation? We’ve put the travel books in a central location to make them easier to find, and are working on getting updated copies for popular destinations. In the meantime, if you have some recent guidebooks that you no longer plan to use, we’d happily accept your donations.
Digital content sessions in the library
Humanities teachers, you’re invited to bring your classes in for a session on using the Destiny catalog to put books on hold and renew them, Sora to check out ebooks, and RBdigital to check out digital magazines. It takes about 45 minutes to cover all 3. If we’re lucky, Maureen will join us!
Let Linda know if you’d like some old books to upcycle into art or something else. As we get rid of outdated materials, we’ll invite you to come and take what you need.
These should be fixed and finalized for the vast majority of students. Thank you for your patience and support.
Kim and Jason are here with us for the next couple of weeks. They will continue to focus on co-teaching and inclusive practices. Some of you may have an opportunity to work more closely with them this visit. Their schedule is currently being finalized.
Please fill this form 24 hrs in advance if you would like to share any announcement to parents / staff / students in our weekly communications that go out.
Assembly Request Form You can use this form to let the MSALT students know what teacher announcements you would like to make. Please share this information before Friday at lunch each week so they have time to plan for the announcements.
A full week ahead with some teachers involved in professional learning with Kim and Jason.I hope that you are starting to feel some sense of routine beginning to develop.
A couple of people have asked about supporting students who are struggling to use technology appropriately in class. Technology choices should be managed like any other behaviors in the classroom. Please ensure that expectations are clear and if a student is struggling make sure that you can see their screens.
