The RLDHS Anti-Bullying Committee comprises school administration, teachers, and students. Â This plan was developed by the committee and supported by the School Action Plan.

How do we combat bullying?
- Bring awareness in a more relatable way
- Ensure students know about privacy
- Expose bullies
- Victims and bystanders need to tell someone
- Safe adults cannot ignore bullying reports
- SEL Training - increase empathy
- Talk openly about bullying
How do we get students to report bullying?
- Adults need to take action immediately
- Anoymous reporting
- Reassure those who are reporting
- Promote safe places in the school
- Rewards system for those to report bullying
- Make sure consequences (for the bully) are reported to the victim
- Role play how to report and make sure students are awre of how to get help
- Clear progressive discipline steps (written in Studnet Handbook)

- Tell the bully to stop - address it immediately
