Youth classes will prepare students for shows, performances and competitions with lots of exciting opportunities throughout the year.
Castle Arts - Fees, Payment & Conditions
The following should be read and agreed before submitting the application form
Payment of Fees and Conditions
Payments are due per term, as one payment before the first session of the term commences. For workshops, a single payment is due before the session commences.
Fees
The fees for each class, term or workshop are detailed on our website and application forms. When you liaise with our Box Office to confirm your booking and pay for the classes, they will re-confirm the costs with you. Fees will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Conditions
- To reserve your place, please fill in and submit the relevant application form (via Google Forms). Payment is due no later than 2 weeks before the start of every term or workshop. If payment has not been received by this time, Castle Theatre may release your reservation and your place will not be guaranteed.
- Returning students will not be asked to complete an application form each term. They will be auto enrolled for the upcoming term and must let us know if they are unable to continue no less than two weeks before the new term’s first session. Payment for the new term will be due two weeks before the first session.
- Parents/guardians must notify us immediately if any member details change (including but not limited to parent/guardian contact details, emergency contact information and allergies/health issues). Please let us know as soon as possible if any details change, by contacting castle.arts@parkwoodtheatres.co.uk.
- New students may be entitled to one taster session for our termly classes. Any attendance to subsequent sessions will require full payment for the rest of the term in advance. Please contact our Box Office for more information on taster sessions.
- Any sessions canceled by Castle Theatre will either be refunded or credited for use in the following term’s payment.
- Should a member decide after their first session that they do not wish to attend Castle Arts anymore, you can apply for a refund for the term’s fees; however, an admin fee of £10 will be kept from the term’s fees to cover the session attended and the administration time. We must also be told that a member will not be returning by the session the following week. This applies to the member’s first session of a specific class, not per term.
- After the first week of the class, the full fees will be non-refundable for that term, regardless of whether a member leaves part way through a term. This will be reviewed in the instance of long term illness, on a case by case basis.
- If a member no longer wishes to continue, confirmation of their non-attendance must be made in writing to the Castle Theatre or by email to castle.arts@parkwoodtheatres.co.uk. Refunds will not be possible, unless points 6 and 7 of these conditions are applicable.
- The Session Leader reserves the right to refuse entry if they feel that the safety and experience of other participants is at risk, including if we feel that our Safeguarding policy is not being adhered to. In this case, refunds will not be possible (unless points 6 and 7 of these conditions are applicable).
Attendance & arrival/pick-up
Please ensure members arrive and are picked up promptly for the Castle Arts workshops - they must be signed in with a staff member first if the parent/guardian isn’t staying on site. 'Official Absences' such as holidays, exams and other commitments, should be brought to the attention of Castle Arts staff either in person, by telephone, or by email as soon as possible. In the case of illness, please telephone the Box Office before 3pm on the day of the session or email castle.arts@parkwoodtheatres.co.uk. Sporadic attendance is not encouraged and any three unexplained absences in a term may result in the member losing their place.
