Enrollment News: We are pleased to announce that the district will continue to offer online enrollment for the 18-19 school year. This process streamlines our procedures and provides our families with a more convenient way to share student information. All returning students should be re-enrolled online through Parent Portal beginning July 9 and must be completed by July 20. A valid e-mail address is also required as a means of communication between you and our school. An informational e-mail through School Messenger will be sent to you the week prior to online re-enrollment to guide you through this process. Technology assistance/enrollment forms will be available Monday through Thursday between July 23 and July 26 at our district office for those who need technological support. The district office will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is located at 1756 Bee Creek Road. Beginning July 30, enrollment will return to Cedar Ridge Elementary.
Proof of residency in the district (i.e. utility bill, real estate contract, property tax, rent receipt) will only be required if a change of address has occurred from the previous school year (or if you are new to our building) and will need to be received by July 27. The free/reduced meal application must be received by August 1 and is also enclosed. You may submit these items to Cedar Ridge Elementary via regular mail, dropping off at our school office, faxing, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Open House: Our 1st-6th grade Back to School Open House will be on Monday, August 13th from 2:30-6:30 p.m. Completion of online registration and up to date proof of residency allows families to proceed directly to the classroom assignment table at Open House. We encourage all families to attend this event in order to set the stage for student success, visit classrooms and meet our staff. Families can drop off school supplies, purchase spirit wear and deposit money on your child’s meal account. Additionally, we will have community partners, transportation and other parent supports set up in our gym during the Open House event.
School Attendance: The first day of school for the 2018-2019 school year is Wednesday, August 15th, 2018. The instructional day begins at 8:40 a.m.and we dismiss at 3:45 p.m. Car riders can be dropped off anytime after 8:10 and before 8:40. School attendance habits are critical to student success and we are eager for our learners to have every opportunity to succeed.
Food Service: The cost for breakfast this year is $1.00 and lunch is $1.95. Additional milk is $0.35. As a reminder to parents, money should be pre-deposited into your student’s lunch account. We strongly encourage parents to use the Parent Portal and PayPal to immediately apply funds to your child’s account or you may write a check payable to Branson Schools with your child’s first and last name written on the memo line.
School Supply List/Calendar: We have included a school supply list by grade level and a 2018-19 school calendar for your convenience.

Summer office hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in July (closed for lunch from 12:00-12:30). Normal business hours resume on Monday, July 30th (open Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 p.m.).
