  1. Treasurer’s Report/Remarks                                Paige

Still working to get a quote for D&O Insurance, as IAA is a bit of an odd organization and a number of insurance agents have had trouble - working to consolidate paperwork to send to a newly referred agent who specializes in non-profits.

  1. Liaison Report/Remarks                                        Armstrong/Newquist

(absent)

  1. Student Representative Remarks                                Bachhausen

Students are excited to be back - club life is back. Culture shows have restarted again. Social interactions have been much improved over online learning.  Tough transitioning to full in-person workload. Fewer students are involved with club leadership - same individuals are involved across multiple boards - consistent for Juniors and Sophomores. Interested to have more alumni involved with club affairs and career panels. Gives ideas to students where their paths can go. Can check with SCIA on a form for student clubs to request involvement with alumni for events and needs. Many students are happy with the interaction between Dr Glazer and the student body - the communication has been better compared to online school model. Faculty relations have improved now that there is face-to-face interaction between students and faculty.

The IMSA Counseling Office put on the Mental Health Assembly for students. They shared with the community that one of IMSA's belief statements reads: Diverse perspectives enrich understanding and inspire discovery and creativity. To marshal these principles, Dr. Ford was invited to IMSA to share her experiences with our community. The message she shared regarding her path to success and wellness is one perspective, and not the only perspective. The Counseling team was available to discuss any thoughts or feelings regarding the guest speaker. They welcomed all types of conversations, from agreement to disagreement, and what we want our community to stand for. They also held a Conversation with the Counselors and made time for other group and individual discussions during the week.
