Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees will be applied per person according to the following schedule, based on the date we receive your written notification:

  1. Cancellations initiated by the participant received in writing to Wilderness Collective with more than 60 days notice before tour start date will receive their deposit as a credit to be used towards future tours with Wilderness Collective. The credit expires 1 year after issued.
  2. Cancellations initiated by the participant received in writing to Wilderness Collective with 60 or less days notice before the tour start date will forfeit their deposit as a cancellation fee. Any balance payments can be held on file as a credit to be used towards future tours and services with Wilderness Collective. The credit expires 1 year after issued.
  3. Cancellations initiated by the participant received in writing to Wilderness Collective with 30 or less days notice before the tour start date will forfeit their deposit and any balance payments as a cancellation fee.
  4. Cancellations initiated by Wilderness Collective due to conditions beyond their control including but not limited to fires, weather, terrorism, civil strife, floods, earthquakes, or natural catastrophes, etc. will be credited towards a future trip in full amount of balances paid.

No refunds will be provided for any reason for an unused portion of a trip once the trip begins, including if you leave a trip for any reason or have to be removed from a trip. The trip price is a package cost and refunds and credits are not available for services not used.

There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including for reasons related to weather, terrorism, civil strife, personal, family or medical emergencies or any other circumstances beyond our control. For this and other reasons, we encourage you to purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance and travel protection (i.e., travel medical insurance and emergency evacuation services).

Wilderness Collective is not responsible for expenses incurred by Participants in preparing for a trip (eg. nonrefundable advance purchase air tickets, equipment, etc.) or for any additional arrangements pre- or post-departure date. The term applies whether the tour is altered, modified, or canceled by us or by you for any reason.

Because the tour may be canceled when a minimum number of Participants have not signed up, we recommend that you either purchase refundable air tickets or wait until we have confirmed with you approximately 3 months prior to the tour that we have a sufficient number of Participants.

COVID Addendum

We acknowledge these are uncertain times and we’re fully committed to getting you out on an adventure of a lifetime. In the spirit of cooperation, we’ve made some special amendments to our standard cancellation policy in an effort to accommodate the unknowns of travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.

*Qualified COVID-19 Circumstances:

Any other cancellation request falls under our standard cancellation policy detailed above.

Waiver

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, WAIVER, RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

In consideration of the services of Wilderness Collective, their agents, owners, officers, volunteers, employees, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf (hereinafter collectively referred to as " WC "), I hereby agree to release, indemnify, and discharge WC, on behalf of myself, my spouse, my children, my parents, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate as follows:

1. I acknowledge that my participation in motorcycle riding, UTV/ATV driving, snowmobile driving, hiking, camping, backpacking and any other activity entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties. I understand that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.

The risks include, among other things: accidents involving other motorcycles, UTV's, snowmobiles or any other vehicles; collision with fixed or movable objects; injuries or accidents involving contact with the vehicle; falls from the machine; the negligence of other operators of motor vehicles or myself; accidents involving the hazards of walking on uneven terrain, weather conditions; head injuries can occur; slipping and falling; falling objects; exhaustion; exposure to temperature and weather extremes which could cause hypothermia, hyperthermia (heat related illnesses), heat exhaustion, sunburn, dehydration; water hazards and accidental drowning; exposure to potentially dangerous wild animals, insect bites, and hazardous plant life; pinches, scrapes, twists and jolts, scratches, bruises, sprains, lacerations, fractures, concussions, or even more severe life threatening hazards; equipment failure; and improper lifting or carrying; my own physical condition, and the physical exertion associated with this activity; accidents or illness can occur in remote places without medical facilities and emergency treatment or other services rendered; consumption of food or drink; the condition of roads, terrain, or highways and accidents connected with their use. Furthermore, WC personnel have difficult jobs to perform. They seek safety, but they are not infallible. They might be unaware of a participant's fitness or abilities. They might misjudge the weather or other environmental conditions. They may give incomplete warnings or instructions, and the equipment being used might malfunction.

2. I expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all of the risks existing in this activity. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary, and I elect to participate in spite of the risks.

3. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless WC from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which are in any way connected with my participation in this activity or my use of WC's equipment or facilities, including any such claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of WC.

4. Should WC or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.

5. I certify that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer while participating, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage myself. I further certify that I am willing to assume the risk of any medical or physical condition I may have.

6. In the event that I file a lawsuit against WC, I agree to do so solely in the state of California, and I further agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply in that action without regard to the conflict of law rules of that state. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining document shall remain in full force and effect.

By signing this document, I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt or property is damaged during my participation in this activity, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against WC on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein. I also agree that this document is valid for subsequent visits and participation at WC.

By submitting this form, I allow WC to share with Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., its affiliates and subsidiaries (“BRP”) the information (excluding all payment/credit card information) I provided for customized marketing purposes, including receiving commercial communications.

Detailed information on the processing of personal data by BRP can be found within the BRP Privacy Policy. You may withdraw or modify your consent at any time by communicating with privacyofficer@brp.com

I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read and understood it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.
