What is this?

The WHO has prepared a disease commodity package that includes an essential list of biomedical equipment, medicines and supplies necessary to care for patients with 2019-nCoV. From this list (see below), there is corona stuff that some private people might have, and might be willing to share. The idea here is to match up potential donors with recipient hospitals in need. Note that we are aware of several international organizations that do this at scale. The difference here is that donations are likely to be very “small” (for example, 100 masks) and recipients are likely to be very “local” (for example, the local hospital) -- and this page is a very simple attempt to connect the two together.

Who are we?

Right now, just one private citizen who is trying to see if we can help out. You can email us at help@coronastuff.org.

By the way -- there may be a better site already doing this. If so, please let us know!

How does it work?

If you are a potential commodity donor:

  1. Fill out this donation form with your potential donation, including contact information. Your contact information will not be listed, but if we get a specific request from a hospital, we may share your contact information with them.
  2. Check out the list of requests here, search by county, state, and country, and get in touch with hospitals.
  1. Search instructions: open the link, then select the menu Data > Filter Views > Create new temporary filter view, then click on the little filter icons on each column
  1. Please use your email receipt to update your response if you make a donation or otherwise don’t have stuff available any more.

If you are a potential commodity recipient (you must be a hospital or health service provider that serves the public):

  1. Fill out this request form with your request, including contact information.
  2. Your request and contact information will be listed here, potential donors may reach out to you directly.
  3. You can also browse the list of potential donations (search by county, state, and country), and get in touch with us about contacting those potential donors.
  1. Search instructions: open the link, then select the menu Data > Filter Views > Create new temporary filter view, then click on the little filter icons on each column
  1. Please use your email receipt to update your response if you make a donation or otherwise don’t have stuff available any more.
