AI Safety Quest is on the lookout for a generalist who can help us address our team's most pressing operational challenges and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day processes. About AI Safety Quest

We see many people who want to help with AI Safety, but don’t know where to start. AI Safety Quest helps solve this problem by creating programs that help new people navigate the AI Safety ecosystem, connect with like-minded people, and find projects that are a good fit for their skills.

We are a community of volunteers working together to get more people involved in the field of AI Safety.

What You'll Be Up To

• Making Things Happen: Ensure seamless collaboration across our team and with clients/partners. You might host weekly volunteer operations calls or help manage the Navigation call scheduling process.
• Building Connections: Strategize on outreach initiatives, collaborations, and community engagement. You could meet with similar orgs, attend an EA conference as our representative, or help us improve our Discord community.
• Improving Every Day: Establish, maintain, and iterate on team processes, including all the fun stuff like task management, performance tracking, hiring, and onboarding. Did you notice that we're behind schedule on a project? You might investigate, meet with a key volunteer, and help remove bottlenecks.
• Finding Opportunities: Continually identify new ways to boost our team’s output and work creatively to address unmet needs.
• Growing with Us: Over time, take on more responsibility and evolve in your role within the team.
