What can I expect from Hodler & Klee Immersive?

Hodler & Klee Immersive is an immersive art exhibition about two of Switzerland's greatest artists: Ferdinand Hodler and Paul Klee. They have had a decisive influence on Swiss art and are two of the country's most important painters. State-of-the-art video projectors are used to create a multimedia light show in which the oversized paintings by Swiss artists flit across the walls and floors of the Auf der Egg church in Wollishofen as if by magic. Mountains and castles, trees and streams come to life, providing an experience that will linger in the memories of art enthusiasts.  This fantastic exhibition offers a unique perspective on their impressive work.

Where does the show take place?

The show takes place at the Kirche Auf der Egg on 8038 Zurich-Wollishofen.

Is the show indoors or outdoors?

The show takes place indoors – in a church.

How long is the show?

The show lasts 40 minutes.

Is the show accessible to people with a hearing impairment?

The show features a narrator who tells stories and facts about the artists. The text is available online on site and can therefore be read.

Is the show also suitable for people who are sensitive to light?

No, unfortunately the show is not suitable for people with photophobia.

Can I take photos or videos during the show?

Photos/videos can be taken and shared on social media. If you like, you can link the profile of the artist collective: @projektilart. However, please be careful when taking photos and deactivate the flash so as not to disturb other visitors. Professional photography equipment and/or tripods are not permitted.

Are there chairs? Can I sit during the show?

There is plenty of seating, such as pews and cushions. There is free choice of seating. Choose your preferred seat when you arrive and enjoy the show.

Are toilets available on site?

Yes, there are toilets on site. A separate changing table is also available.

ACCESS TO THE EVENT

How much earlier should I be there?

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the start time of the show indicated on your booked ticket. Since there is usually another performance running beforehand, you unfortunately cannot enter the event room earlier. There is no waiting room on site.

What happens if I am late?

If you arrive a little late, you will unfortunately miss a few minutes of the show, but you can of course still enter and enjoy the rest of the show.

Can I bring animals?

Unfortunately, no animals - with the exception of guide dogs - can be brought into the venue.

Is there a minimum age?

No, this event is suitable for people of all ages. Nevertheless, we ask you to pay attention to the noise and to be respectful of others. Our staff will be on hand to help you if you or someone in your group needs to leave the room for a few minutes.

Is there parking on site?

No, there is no on-site parking available. We strongly recommend traveling by public transport. Please consult the timetable of the VBZ.

Will the event also take place in bad weather?

Yes, because the event takes place indoors and the venue is completely covered.

What items are prohibited at the event?

Cameras with flash, alcohol and open drinks, as well as anything that could disturb other visitors or distract them from enjoying the show.

ACCESSIBILITY

Is the venue accessible for people in wheelchairs?

Yes, the entire venue is wheelchair accessible.

Is there an accessible toilet on site?

Yes, please contact the on-site staff.

TICKETS

Can I buy a ticket on the door?

Tickets can be purchased on-site during the event's opening hours and only for the next showing, provided it is not sold out.

Where can I buy tickets?

Official tickets can only be purchased on Fever. Tickets can be purchased on the app, available on the Google Play Store and Apple Store, or on the Fever website. There are no tickets available on other websites or ticket platforms.

Are tickets refundable? What are the exchange conditions?

Depending on availability, changes to the date and/or time can be made up to 48 hours before the start of the experience. In such a case, please contact us stating your ticket ID. Refunds are not possible under any circumstances. You can find further information in our General Terms and Conditions (AGB).

Can I rebook my tickets to a different date/time or category?

We may be able to help you rebook or exchange your tickets for a different date, time or ticket category if it is not already sold out. Please contact us for more information and don't forget to include your ticket ID.

I can't find my ticket. What can I do?

You can find your ticket using the QR code in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Make sure that you have logged in with the same account that you used to purchase the tickets. If you still can't find your ticket, please contact us.
