📣 Public Service Announcement: Temporary Parking Changes
McMahon Wintonbury Library is open! The parking lot is currently closed for exterior renovations and is expected to remain closed until sometime in the fall. Patrons may park at the Blue Hills Fire Department lot across the street during this time. We thank the Blue Hills Fire Department for their generosity and partnership as we complete this final phase of the project.
The Prosser Library parking garage is temporarily closed to vehicle and foot traffic. An oversized vehicle damaged the parking garage ceiling, and Public Works is working on repairs. At this time, we do not know when access to the parking garage will be restored. Handicap-accessible parking is available in front of Prosser Library along Tunxis Avenue, as well as in designated spots in the parking lot at the base of the bridge.

We’re thrilled to welcome you back! Stop in to browse the collection, enjoy the views, attend a program, and reconnect with your favorite BPL staff. 📚
 Parking Information:
• The Prosser parking garage on the ground floor contains accessible spaces and is FREE.
• A few accessible parking spaces are also available on Tunxis Avenue directly in front of the Prosser Library plaza, and additional accessible spaces are located at the base of the Prosser Library bridge.
• Please park in the main lot and cross the bridge to enter.
• For the shortest distance between library services and parking, accessible spaces are also located directly outside the parking lot entrance at McMahon Wintonbury Library.
• Electric Charging Stations are available at both library locations. The stations use AmpedUp! Networks​ ​for payment.
