6. Tournament

  1. During tournament matches, you may not speak or attempt to communicate with any of the players who are actively playing in the match. Attempting in doing so will result in your removal from the event for that day, as well as a disqualification if you are also participating in the tournament.
  2. If you are participating in the tournament, you are expected to be ready to play on either Friday or Saturday when the announcement is given that the tournament matches are about to start.

  4. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy on cheating. Any cheating, foul play, match fixing, or any other undesirable behavior from tournament participants can result in a disqualification from the tournament.
  5. Tournament judges will verify the matches and look for potential cheating, foul play, match fixing, or any other undesirable behavior from the players. If you have been found guilty of these acts, you may choose to create a dispute, at which point, the judges, organizers and you will work together until a final decision is made. In a case like this, you are not allowed to rally other players into choosing your side, as doing so will result in disqualification. You may request the opinions of other strong players, however, this must first be run by the organizers.
  6. If there are not enough players to play a set of matches in the tournament, the organizers may ask if there are any volunteers to fill in the available spots. If you are such a volunteer, then you will not have to pay the entry fee to participate in the tournament, however, your first victory will mean that you will not earn any prize money. Alternatively, you may pay the entry fee there-and-then, at which point, if you win a match, you will receive the appropriate prize money.
