Captain Cook was the first person to discover Hawaii, he also named Hawaii. Now 1000 years later there are exactly 1.428 million people living on the islands. Hawaii is known for its culture, famous volcanoes and the beautiful beaches.  But most of all the kind people.

Volcanoes: Kilauea volcano, Mauna Loa, Haleakala, Hualalai

All the volcanoes above have erupted and they are most erupting volcanoes in hawaii. Most of the volcanoes in Hawaii are active volcanoes that means they erupt a lot. Did you know that Kilauea volcano is erupting right now?

Beaches:Lanikai Beach, Oahu,Hanalei Bay Beach,Kaanapali - Black Rock Beach Maui, Hanauma Bay, Oahu, Ke'e Beach Park, Kauai, Kapalua Bay Beach, Maui, Hapuna Beach State Park, Big Island, Poipu Beach, Kauai. Yes these are all the top ten beaches in hawaii, so that means there is so much more beaches in hawaii. These top ten beaches are the attraction for tourist, the reason for this is the golden sand the beautiful blue water and all the amazing sea animals in it.

Dancing in hawaii:The hula is the most popular dance in hawaii. The reason for this is that the hula is a traditional dance in hawaii. The hula was created by the Hawaiian Islands and the Polynesians who originally settled there. For the hula they also have a traditional outfit.

Well that explains why so many people go to hawaii for their holiday, you have your beaches, volcanos, dancing and the very kind people. Even tho hawaii is very small with only three island it is a very popular holiday destination.
