Notice Regarding Destruction of Records.
Special Education records collected by Responsive Education Solutions, must be maintained for a period of five years following the cessation of services. Special Education services end when a student is no longer eligible for services, graduates, completes his/her educational program at age 22, moves from the District, or drops out of school. This notification is to inform parents/guardians and former students of Responsive Education Solutions of the intent to destroy the Special Education records of students who received Special Education services prior to or during the 2015-2016 school years.
Records not requested by December 15, 2021 will be destroyed beginning January 15, 2022. The parent/guardian or eligible (18 and over) student may request a copy of the records by contacting: Heidi Worlton, Administrative Assistant to the Director of Special Education, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
