シリーズ作品 / 2018〜
昆虫の姿形は長い地球の環境を反映している。人間以外の視点から環境や風景にアプローチする為、昆虫の身体にその昆虫のいた土地の風景をプリントするシリーズ。
風景の中に潜むミクロな要素である昆虫の個体そのものへ、それが生まれ育った広大な風景、時間を一つの作品に濃縮する。

シリーズ作品 / 2017〜
例えばクワガタムシは樹内で羽化し樹外へ出るために樹木に穴を開ける。このような穴は羽脱孔と呼ばれる。様々な昆虫によって作られたこの穴を採取しピンホールカメラを制作し、カメラにて穴のあった位置、方向から風景を撮影しプリントするシリーズ。
昆虫は約四億年前に出現したといわれており、人類誕生よりはるか昔からこの惑星に存在している。また同時に、昆虫は現代のカメラ技術の発端であるピンホールを地球上に作り続けてきた生物とも言える。彼らが生み出した装置(羽脱孔=ピンホール)を用いることで往々たる地球の風景を、そしてそこにおける彼ら昆虫の営為そのものを投影する。

Printing the Scenery on Something that Was Once a Part of the Scenery

The forms of insects reflect the long history of Earth's environment. To approach the environment and landscapes from a perspective other than human, a series that prints the landscapes of the places where the insects lived onto the bodies of the insects.
Condensing the vast landscapes and time where these micro elements, the insects, hide within the landscapes into a single artwork.

Series / 2017〜
For example, a stag beetle creates holes in trees to emerge from within the tree. These holes are called "emergence holes." Collecting these holes created by various insects, creating pinhole cameras, and capturing and printing landscapes from the positions and directions of these holes, a series.
Insects are said to have appeared about 400 million years ago, existing on this planet long before the birth of humanity. Simultaneously, insects can be considered as the originators of modern camera technology, continuously creating pinholes on Earth. Using the device they created (emergence holes = pinholes), projecting not only diverse Earth landscapes but also the very activities of these insects within those landscapes."
