Stitched with Love for Area Children

The sewing machines will whir, the scissors will snip and the irons will press-- all so that hospitalized children will have a soft place to rest their heads.  The 6th annual “Ryan’s Case for Smiles” sewing workshop is Saturday, April 22nd at First Presbyterian Church in Fulton.

Experienced seamstresses as well as sewing novices will create bright, cheery pillowcases for children in Mid-MO hospitals who are dealing with life-changing illnesses.  Volunteers will pin, sew, press, fold, bag and tag the pillowcase “smiles.”  Last year, the group made nearly 150 pillowcases in a single day!

This year’s event will be from 9am to 2pm in the Fellowship Hall of the church at 718 Court Street in Fulton.
