COVID-19 brought the health inequities of this nation to the forefront of the news and public conscience. Who gets access to care and medication and who does not?
As an organization committed to improving healthcare access in this country, it is important for us to recognize that the murder of Black women and men is also a public health crisis. It is important for us to say, unequivocally: Black Lives Matter.
We remain committed to reimagining access to medicine but also examining our own frame around equality and equity through a new lens: healthcare justice and sustainability.
We look forward to growing and learning with you all.
