Flower and Vegetable Show

Show Rules:

Exhibitors wishing to enter must bring in entries between 8:30 and 10:30

am. No late entries will be accepted. You must be a member to exhibit in

the flower and vegetable show.

Exhibitor may enter up to 2 different cultivars in the Cultural Division 1,

Sections A,B,C,D and E. Please name the cultivar if known.

Design Division allows only 1 entry per class by individual exhibitor.

Judging starts promptly at 10:45 am. Judge’s decision is final.

Judges Choices: Best Cultivar, Best Houseplant, Best Rose, Best Floral

Design, Best Novice Design and Judge’s Choice.

Section A - Cut Specimens, Annuals

1. Begonia, Tuberous - Floating in a bowl - 1 bloom

2. Coleus – any type, same or mixed cultivars – 3 stems

3. Cosmos - any colour - 3 stems

4. Dahlia - ball type, - 1 stem

5. Dahlia - under 10cm (4”) - 1 stem

6. Dahlia – 10cm (4”) and over – 1 stem

7. Gladiolus, any colour - 1 spike

8. Marigold, any variety - 3 stems

9. Nasturtiums - floating in a bowl with own foliage - 3 blooms

10. Pansies, with foliage - 3 blooms

11. Pelagonium, (Annual Geranium) – any colour – 1 stem

12. Pelagonium, (Annual Geranium) – bi-colour – 1 stem

13. Petunia, single, under 9cm (3.5”) one cultivar - 1 sprays
