1. Host a successful Annual Educators Conference 

• Goal: 150 total participants
• Date & Location: St. Michael's College, Friday, March, 21, 2024
• Coordination with ALN, other organizations

2. Host a successful Student Math Fair

• Goal: 40 total projects
• Date & Location: TBD
• Find outside donations for $0 registration fee

3. Invigorate & Elevate VCTM

• Establish a slate of officers & reps for 24-25
• Revise VCTM Mission
• Revise website to highlight updated mission and implementation.  
• Attract, recruit, and retain board members
• Revise: ‘humble checklist’ roles & responsibilities docs
• Rewrite zones!

4. Promote Equity & Inclusion in Mathematics

• Choosing to See Bookchat
• Continued work with Megan Staples and other equity scholars
• Active committee collaboration

5. Enhance & Further Promote Opportunities for Teacher Recognition

• Send out award nominations early & nominate by zone
• Continue partnerships with organizations (e.g. Hand2Mind)

6. Apply to Grants & Solicit Sponsorships

• NCTM/NCSM MET Grant
• ATMNE Grant
• Document & promote accomplishments with previously awarded grants!

7. Maintain connection with NCTM/NCSM throughout the year through events and communication

• Volunteer someone for NCTM board of director elections/nominations
