What to expect:

• Course design consists of four modules with presented content and a response task for each. The first is a live Zoom, and the remaining three are to be completed asynchronously. .
• Asynchronous content shared through interactive Peardeck slides to navigate at your own pace.
• Linked recordings for further clarification and explanation.
• Embedded interactive questions allow for participation and reflection.
• Hours through the middle of the day to complete the asynchronous portion of the course.
• Submit evidence of learning during the second Zoom, in the afternoon.

Logging in to access Peardeck content:

• You will be prompted to log in using your (school  or personal) Google account to access Pear Deck and the content slides.

FAQs

• When will I receive my certificate of course completion for my 6 hours of GT credit?

Certificates will be posted to your Region 10 account within two weeks of the date of your training.

• What if I click out of the slides presentation and lose my place?

Each time you click the link to join a presentation, it should pick up where you left off. However, if you access it at another time and find this is not the case, simply advance the slides to find the slide you left off on. You will not need to resubmit any interactive questions a second time.

• What if I don’t finish in the allotted time window?

This course was designed to be completed within 6 hours, as if we were meeting in person, face-to-face. We will allot an hour for lunch as well. The course must be completed on the day it is scheduled.

• What if I completed only part of the course...can I get partial credit?

Credit will only be awarded in full and for the completion of all required tasks. This includes attendance during both the morning and afternoon Zooms, participation in PearDeck and other reflections, and completion of the final product we present in the afternoon Zoom.  

• What if I get stuck or need assistance?
