After lying on the beach in Mexico for a week, and coming back to breezy leafless Brainerd, one thought comes to mind.  

WE ALL NEED JESUS.

In Mexico & in the USA.

Where it is hot & where it is cold.

We all need to know that God loves us.

All of us, in our similarities and in our differences.

Jesus came to same us all from our sins.

We all need Jesus.

Welcome to our new website and my first EVER blog.

It’s hard to believe that it is 2017 and I am now FINALLY learning how to  blog. A big thanks to Sarah for all of her help in getting this updated and new. And also a Huge thank you to Lee for keeping the website up and active for so long, without any help or praise.

Not knowing exactly what to write, I will just quote my favorite bible passage. John 11:35 “Jesus wept.”

It’s my favorite for a few reasons.

1. It is the shortest verse, making it very easy to memorize.
2. Weeping is a very human thing to do, showing that Jesus was true man.
3. Jesus also being in very nature God, and knowing all that was about to come. Lazarus being raised from the dead, which would bring people joy. Jesus’ own death and resurrection, that would bring forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe. Wept because as God he know that not everyone would believe. And many would receive God’s wrath instead of His gift of LOVE.

My prayer is that we are reminded of how Great God’s Love is for us.
