Thomas Lindow’s death is not reported in any local newspaper, nor does his name appear on any Leyland war memorial.

FERME-OLIVIER  CEMETERY,  BELGIUM

Grave Ref:  Plot III Row D Grave 12.

Age 27, the son of Daniel and Margaret Lindow of Brierfield, Lancashire.

Ferme-Olivier Cemetery is located 7 km north-west of Ieper town centre on the Steenjesmolenstraat, near the village of Elverdinge.

Note:- From his place of burial one must assume that the 115th Company M.G.C. was in the line in the Yprès Salient when Thomas Lindow was killed in action.
