Anne Cordero-Rabe

  • Graduated from Santa Barbara High School (Go Dons!), and then UCLA (Go Bruins!), with a BA in History.  Received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master’s degree in education from UCSB (Go Gauchos!).  
  • I have been teaching Kindergarten, first and second grade for 16 years; 15 of those years at Brandon School (Go Islanders!).  
  • My favorite books are The Fab Five, by Mitch Albom, Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendeck, historical fiction novels and anything by Shel Silverstein.

Renee Dosch

  • Graduated with a BA and multiple subject elementary credential from Cal State Northridge 
  •  Education Specialist Credential Mild to Moderate from Cal State Channel Islands
  • Education Specialist Credential Moderate to Severe from Brandman University.  
  • Administrative Services Credential from SBCEO
  • Taught 6th, 2nd, 3rd and K for 6 years with the LAUSD Resource teacher and TOSA for SBUSD for 8 years; worked at McKinley, OAS and Roosevelt, Communication Intensive Teacher at Brandon School 2nd year

Megan Frederick

  • Graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and received a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California Lutheran University.
  • Have taught Kindergarten for the past 8 years at Brandon.
  • Children’s book: We Don’t Eat Our Classmates,  Adult book: The Great Gatsby

Christie Paloczi

  • Graduated from UCSB with a Bachelor’s degree in History, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Master’s degree in Education
  • Has taught 2nd, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten for the past 21 years in Pasadena, at Marymount of Santa Barbara, and for the past 13 years at Brandon School
  • Favorite children’s books: All variations of the story The Gingerbread Boy and the literature unit I teach each year using those stories. Favorite adult book: I love historical fiction and have many favorites. One of my favorites is The Book Thief.
