Canvas Basics (10 EDP hours) is an online 4-week course that covers various tools available in  Canvas and will prepare an instructor to teach online courses. The topics covered include the  following:

• Navigate Canvas 

• Customize your Canvas Profile 

• Adjust your Notification Settings 

• Understand communication tools in Canvas 

• Create and set a Canvas Home Page 

• Create a Module and add content 

• Create various activities and assessments in Canvas 

• Understand how Groups and Collaborations can be used 

• Utilize SpeedGrader

Online Classroom Management (2 EDP Credits) is an online 1-week course that covers online  Policies and Procedures and Classroom Management. Canvas Basics is a pre-requisite for this  course. The topics covered include the following: 

• Online Calendars 

• Online Attendance Processing Guide 

• Online Instructor Guide 

• MSVCC Enrollment Tool 

• EZ Attendance/e-signature 

• Proctoring 

• Evaluations

New Quizzes Basics (EDP Credits TBD) is an online 1-week course that covers the transition from  Canvas Classic Quizzes to Canvas New Quizzes. (Classic Quizzes will no longer be available after  July 2022). The topics covered include the following:

New Quizzes Intermediate (1 EDP Credit) is a webinar that will cover the additional questions  surrounding Canvas New Quizzes.
