HAMILTON-WENHAM REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
Parents will register all Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade students at the Superintendent’s Office. Each school principal will be kept informed of the registration totals. In turn, the principals will consult with the Superintendent and the Director of Special Education, when necessary, to place Kindergarten and incoming new students.
Student assignments will be predicated on the District’s class size policy, the availability of specialized programs if needed, and transportation considerations.
II. Policy Review and Revision
This policy and its procedures will be reviewed every two years for compliance with state and federal law. Review and revision of these policies and procedures shall occur as needed, but at least every two years.
