Instructions:
- A candidate may enroll in any number of NPTEL courses that they want.
They can login to the exam registration form and select the exam date as per the availability in the exam city chosen by them. Only those exam cities which are mentioned in the exam registration form are available for this semester. A candidate may choose which is most suitable to them.
- A candidate can take one exam in the forenoon session and another during the afternoon session on the same day. A candidate will be provided with different hall tickets for different sessions. A candidate need to have the same registered email ID for all courses to have two different sessions on the same day in the same exam centre.
- A candidate cannot take more than 2 exams a day. The exam date given in the exam registration form is based on the availability in that exam city.
- There is no option to select any particular session. NPTEL will allot the session (Forenoon / Afternoon) as per the availability and the sessions will not clash. A candidate needs to take the exam in the same session which is allotted to them as mentioned in the hall ticket. There is no option to take the exam in a different session.
- NPTEL certificate will be issued based on assignment score, unproctored programming test (if it's applicable for the courses) and final exam score meeting the eligibility criterion. It's the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that he has enough assignment & programming test scores to obtain a certificate if he/she expects a certificate after taking the exam.
- We request the candidates to check the calculation logic and the eligibility criteria mentioned in the course page & announcement page to get the e-certificate.
- It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that he/she downloads the hall ticket at their end before the exam. We also suggest that the candidate checks their inbox and spam/junk boxes & promotion /social labels for emails.
- Candidates can cancel the registration before the last date of registration and take the refund (refer column K in the below table based on the exam date). Cancellation after the last date will not be allowed. CHARGEBACK through the bank will not be entertained.
- NOTE: After the last date for data changes, if a candidate requests any changes to their personal information (name, DOB, photo, signature, SC/ST and PWD certificates), NPTEL will charge an additional 200 rupees for each change.
